– Following thirty years as a music teacher, in 2002 Dennis began a second career in ministry as Pastor of Special Ministries at Spring Creek Church of the Brethren in Hershey and became Senior Pastor there in 2008, retiring in January 2018. 

– He served recently as Interim Pastor at the Akron Church of the Brethren in Akron, PA.

– In addition to education degrees from Mansfield State College and Penn State University, his theological studies include the Atlantic Northeast District reading course, studies at Lancaster Theological Seminary, Evangelical School of Theology, and courses through the Brethren Academy and the Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center.

– Dennis and his wife, Cathy, live in Annville, PA, and are the parents of three grown children and have been blessed with four grandchildren,
