What is “Mission of the Month”?

Launched in 2024, the “Mission of the Month” initiative will target one mission organization per month. This mission can effect local communities or a more global population.

Why have a “Mission of the Month?”

The purpose of the “Mission of the Month” project is to:

1. help members of the congregation become more aware of local and global missions that need our help and involvement
2. extend our church’s outreach into new areas of need

How will the”Mission of the Month” work?

A new mission organization will be selected each month by the congregation. The mission will be asked to provide a presenter or material to bring information about the mission to the congregation. Information about the mission will be available on a table in the back of the sanctuary. Donations to the mission can me made by designating “Mission of the Month” on the offering envelope or by placing the donation in the offering plate available on the table at the back of the sanctuary.
